About the Weekend Guy
I'm Eric, founder of The Weekend Guy Home Inspections. After completing professional training through ATI Home Inspection Institute and passing the National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE), I launched this company to provide detailed, honest inspections for buyers throughout the Lafayette area.
My goal is simple: provide information, reduce surprises, and help clients understand the condition of their future home, all at convienent times on the weekends.

Up to 1,000 square feet, each additional 500 square feet adds $50.

Should I attend the inspection?
Yes! Clients are encouraged to attend the whole inspection, a summary of major findings will be provided at the end of each inspection.
How long does an inspection take?
Most inspections take 2–4 hours depending on size and condition.
When will I receive my report?
Typically within 24 hours.
